Your body needs you to feel calm to digest and properly turn food into fuel. When you’re nervous or stressed, your digestive system switches to “fight or flight” mode, causing indigestion, bloating, acid reflux and gas.

Second, before your first bite, take a deep breath. Be grateful for the meal and check in with your body.
